李德茂×TAI身體劇場×陳昱榮

本作品源於獵人與山林、動物間的直接經驗。透過編舞、影像、聲音的相互交疊變樣,試圖形構出微妙的作品體驗。經由TAI的腳譜及舞者動作,重構獵人在獵徑中的隱晦步伐與符碼;影像透過AI圖學引擎的演算法,誘發影像的自發性內在突變,異質化舞者身體表演及獵人的原初經驗,在影像的內在演譯及身體的主體性姿勢之間,重構出一種非中心化的視角。此外,聲音作為一種質變後的系統,透過後製的失真與陌生化,作為回應聆聽與身體經驗、原始狀態之間的關聯性。

This piece was inspired by observations of hunters, the mountains, and animals. The blend of dance, video, and sound formulates a subtle experience. TAI’s dance-step notations and the dancers’ movements represent the concealed movements and resulting “codes” (viewpoints) of hunters. For the imagery, algorithms from an AI graph engine induce spontaneous changes from within. The transformations of the dancers’ bodies while performing and the hunters’ primordial experiences produce a decentralized perspective. Also, the audio has been processed to distort and defamiliarize as a response to listening to the connection between bodily experience and primordial situations.

陳昱榮,聲音及多媒體藝術家。以聲音創作反思空間、身體、情緒、傳聲媒介、虛實交錯的感知等,近年著重跨界合作,並受邀海內外多地駐村。

LEE Te-mao is an artist and curator whose work often imaginatively involves multiple domains. His recent work includes Gravitational Wave, Waves, Small Stones, and Mr. Palomar, and Cross Letters.

TAI Body Theatre, founded by Watan Tusi, creates work of manifold styles related to Indigenous literature, the body, music, the current plight of Indigenous people, and what is happening to the environment.

CHEN Yu-jung, a sound and multimedia artist, contemplates space, the body, emotions, sound media, and the mix of the real and the virtual. Recently focusing on crossover collaborations, he has been invited to be a resident artist in Taiwan and abroad.
