Bright Side  |  Installation

“Breaking Ball” made Maiko think of the moon, which never changes but appears to do so from Earth based on where the sun is. This perspective makes the sphere-shaped moon seem to transform, hence what we call “crescent” and “new” moons. The piece presents the viewer with a form that is ever-changing.
